“Know by heart …” is a game about accepting loss. It’s an amalgamation of plot and music. Its intuitive gameplay, fantastic mini-games as well as the music, create an illusion that one can return to childhood. The players feel as if they are growing up and time is passing by our hands.

The players will get to experience the tranquility of a small Russian town, where traces and remnants from the Soviet time can still be seen and heard.

Misha, the protagonist, remains in his boring, dead-end job, until one day his routine is shattered as his school crush returns to the town. Misha finds hope in escaping of the everyday grind in the first time since his teens. The tale of an old group of childhood friends getting together are interspersed into an unsettling, yet brief incident in town’s everyday life. They must journey down memory lanes and rekindle their friendship But their past memories of their past as well as the friendships between them get strained…

Ayrat Zakirov, Ice-Pick Lodge’s chief technology officer, runs this nostalgic endeavor. The events of the game will occur in Russia. After years of being absent, Misha is set to meet his former friends from childhood. They’ll reunite with their former classmates, Misha to relive old memories and re-discover common ground. Unfortunately, their reunion is likely to be destroyed due to an event that is beyond their control.
